Born and raised in the "Big Easy", New Orleans, LA., Attorney Cedric LeBlanc was reared with strong family ties but even stronger community ties, a true "Boot Boy". Born in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans, he spent most of his adolescence living in the Uptown, East and West areas of New Orleans. Gratefully, Mr. LeBlanc realized his purpose early in life: to be of service to others and to leave a positive impact on everyone's life, regardless of race, religion, or creed. Mr. LeBlanc came from a very diverse educational background, attending high schools such as, Archbishop Shaw and Edna Karr to universities such as Southeastern Louisiana University and Southern University.
Attorney Cedric LeBlanc, also known as Ced the Counselor" across all internet and social media platforms, earned his Juris Doctorate Degree at The Southern University Law Center, 1 of 6 HBCU law schools in the United States. Mr. LeBlanc became a member of the Louisiana State Bar at 26 years old, after taking and passing the bar exam on the first try. After law school, Mr. LeBlanc was afforded his first official opportunity to work in public service as a judicial clerk, later promoted to staff attorney for the Honorable Christopher Dassau (d.2021). After learning a great deal on the criminal side of the law Mr. LeBlanc wanted to obtain experience practicing civil work, so he went into private practice garnering an opportunity with one of the top Personal Injury firms in the southeast region of the country and one of the top Criminal Defense firms in the state of Louisiana. After gaining valuable experience in private practice, including but not limited to: drafting a multitude of agreements, negotiating settlements, and successfully trying cases, Mr. LeBlanc felt it was time to finally spread his wings and fly, thus, LeBlanc Legal "The Lesson Learned" law firm was created.
